10-24-05 Patty Drop Leaves its Mark at NTCC Saturday, October 8th, during Northeast Texas Community College's Rodeo Weekend, the right field bull-pen at Eagle Field was transformed to a “goat-pen”, to host the first ever Goat Patty Bingo fundraiser. Supporters of the Eagle Baseball program purchased random squares in hopes that the well fed goat might leave its “mark” within their lucky square. “Steve” the goat was corralled in the pen as onlookers waited with baited breath. A little over twenty minutes was all that was required to declare the winner, as Steve left behind some good fortune for one lucky winner. Jim Montgomery of Mount Pleasant came away as the Grand Prize Winner, taking home $500.00.
