Schlegel Named to All Star Game (8-30-07) Mt Pleasant-The Northeast Texas Baseball team is proud to announce that Sophomore Kevin Schlegel was named to the Texas/New Mexico All Star Game. “We are very proud to have Kevin
named to the All Star Team. He worked hard and had a very solid year
for us.” said Head Coach Chris Smith. "The In his Freshman campaign Schlegel finished fourth on the team hitting a solid .322 in 171 plate appearances. Schlegel was voted as a designated hitter since he served in a variety of roles for the Eagles last year. The All-Star game will be held at Baylor Ball Park in Waco, TX. The games will start Friday September 28th and will conclude September 29th.
