2008 Season:

Last season Blake hit .311 in 151 at bats and played in 49 games…He had 11 doubles and drove in 18 runners…He had an on base percentage of .451 and lead the team in steals with 24-32

High School:

As a senior at Sulphur High School Blake hit .480 with 43 doubles, 17 triples, 8 home runs, 98 runs batted in, and had stole 23 bases…As a junior he was a 2^nd team all district selection…As a senior he was an All State selection, 1^st team all district, All Southwest, and was named to the All –State Coaches Association.

Personal:

Blake is the son of David and Tracy Ellender…He has a brother Brandon (26) and Troy (28)…Majoring in coaching…In his spare time he likes to hang out with friends, watch sports, play video games, hunting, and spending time with his family…His favorite baseball team is the Atlanta Braves and his favorite player is George Brett, Ted Williams, and Chipper Jones…Blake likes to eat barbeque, jumbo, crawfish, seafood, alligator, and jambalaya.
