2008 Season: Last season Cody hit .297 with 118 at bats and 39 games played…He also hit 3 home runs and had a slugging percentage of .458…He drove in 28 runners and was 10-12 of stolen bases. Cody also collected several accolades during the 2008 season by being named to the TEAC All Conference Team and to the 2008 Texas New Mexico All Star Game. High School: Cody had a stellar senior year at Haughton High School batting .409 with 8 home runs, 7 doubles, 6 triples, 32 runs batted in and 10 stolen bases…His senior year he earned All District, All City, All State honors and was named to the Louisiana All Star game. Personal: Cody is the son of David and Charlotte Causey…he has 2 sisters Kristen (25) and Rachel (23)….His dad played football at Northwestern State University…Cody’s major is undecided…In his spare time he likes to hang out with friends…His favorite baseball player is Ken Griffey Jr. and his favorite team is the San Diego Padres…Cody’s favorite food is chicken and dumplings.
