High School: In Matt’s senior campaign he was 8-2 on the mound with 63 innings pitched…He struck out an amazing 96 batters and only walked 23 batters…He posted a 1.60 earned run average…At the plate Matt his .390 with 2 home runs…His senior he was a 7A All State, 7A All Conference for 3 years, Arkansas All Star Team, was voted the #1 player in 7A West Baseball, Times Record First Team, 7A Football State Championship game MVP.
Matt is the son of Robert O’Neal…He has a brother Brandon (12)…His major is pre-professional studies with the goal to become an orthopedic surgeon…His goal is to become a professional baseball player…In his spare time his likes to play the guitar, listen to rock, and hang with friends…His favorite food is macaroni and cheese.
