Jesus was one of the mainstays in the outfield for the Eagles his freshman year…Jesus played in 45 games and hit .258 for the year...had the fourth most RBI on the team last year hitting in the 9th spot in the order, was one of the Eagles most efficient base stealers swiping 7 bags in 9 attempts...

High School:

Jesus had a shortened senior year at Pittsburg High School because of a broken ankle….he finished hitting .350 with 10 doubles, 3 triples, and 1 home run….Jesus also walked 20 times and stole 30 bases.

Personal:

Jesus is the son of Jesus and Elia Alvarez….born on August 7, 1986….Jesus has two brothers Santos and Cruz Alvarez….in his spare time Jesus likes to play baseball and watch his favorite player Eric Chavez and his favorite team the Oakland A’s….Jesus’ favorite food is pizza.
